Hi, I am Vethunan, a minimally invasive surgeon and educator. I have trained in Malaysia, India and Thailand.

I am a dedicated General and Minimally Invasive Surgeon providing safe, evidence-based surgical care with a patient-first approach.

Committed to clear communication, modern techniques, and helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

Special interest:
- Minimally Invasive/ Access Surgery
- Cancer Surgery (Surgical Oncology)

Work experience

For past 16 years I have worked in 10 different hospitals around Malaysia including 4 early formative years in Sandakan, Sabah. My experience curtails from secondary, tertiary and quaternary care hospitals. 

Teaching experience

Besides surgery, I enjoy teaching and have been part-time lecturer in surgery to medical student from International Medical University and University Putra Malaysia.
